LMW consists of a dependable Design Department that consists of a most dedicated work ethic. The team has efficiently designed low to mid rise buildings, various structural systems including steel reinforcement, concrete, concrete cast in place and recasts. We have reinforced masonry buildings, light gage frames and metal buildings as well.

STRUCTURAL MONITORING

Protecting the adjacent structures has become an integral element of the new construction in the city. One critical part of the protection program is the comprehensive monitoring program implemented prior to the start of construction.

At LMW, we not only provide the monitoring services, but we also utilize our knowledge and experience as structural engineers to further analyze and interpret the monitoring data, and make recommendations to our clients based on our understanding of the structure under monitoring and the data analysis. It is our belief that protection of adjacent structure can only be achieved with such integrated monitoring and engineering services. The monitoring program may utilize one or a combination of several following instruments and/or methods:

  • Monitoring using surveying equipment;
  • Automated Motorized Total Station(AMTS);
  • Tiltmeters and strain gauges;
  • Inclinometers;
  • Vibration Monitoring Equipment.
